Produced during the 1970s in New Zeland by the Jason company, this set of 6 placemats pays tribute to the artwork of Peter Edwards. The placemats feature works from 1976 including Old Miner’s House, Overgrown Myrtleford, Miner’s House Beechworth, Town House Adelaide, Stock Race Bethanga and Old Shops Rutherglen. These cork-backed placemats are heat resistant up to 85 degrees C/185 F so there is no issue accommodating a nice hot cup of tea, warm bowl of soup or a delicious meal all the while protecting your table. They are a joy to use as they wipe up with only a damp cloth.
This set comes with the original box and is in excellent vintage condition. Please examine the photographs as they are considered the part of the description.
Each placemat measures 8.5 inches by 7.5 inches (22 cm X 19 cm)
