In the early 1950s and 1960s, several English potteries produced Harry Wheatcroft Rose inspired designs. Harry Wheatcroft (1898 – 1977) was a famous English rose grower. He did a great deal to popularize roses among British gardeners. This set of 6 teacup trios feature the world famous roses: Peace Rose, Rendez-Vous, Grand Gala, Prelude, Mme. CH Sauvage and Virgo. Each of the teacups features a lovely solid pastel color inside.

He did a great deal to popularize roses among British gardeners. This set of 6 teacup trios feature the world famous roses: Peace Rose, Rendez-Vous, Grand Gala, Prelude, Mme. CH Sauvage and Virgo. Each of the teacups features a lovely solid pastel color inside.

This set of 6 trios is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, hairlines or repairs. Please examine the photographs as they are part of the description.

APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS: Cups-3 7/8 inches in diameter (does not include handle) by 2 1/2 inches high. Saucers measure 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Side plates measure 6 1/4 inches in diameter.
