What a darling and romantic set of shakers to add to your table. These hand-painted Limoges style salt and pepper shakers were done by a talented amateur artist and variations of trailing roses on each facet.
These salt and pepper shakers are both in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, hairlines, scratches, fading, paint strikes, restoration, or repairs. The “hammered” look of the top of the shakers is intentional and not damage from use over time. There is one small area of wear on the side of one shaker as is visible in the photographs. The items we sell are not new, they are vintage and have lived previous lives. As such, be aware that minor imperfections and flaws may exist. We endeavor to describe any and all anomalies, if any, that are present. Please examine the condition as the photographs are an integral part of our description and supersede any written word. Photographs have been taken using natural light but slight color variations due to processing may be possible.
